College Of Public Health

University of South Florida has an accredited College of Public Health by the Council on Education for Public Health (CPEH), which was established in July 1984 with an initial enrollment of 100 students and has graduated 1975 students. The current enrollment includes 495 master and 91 Doctoral full and part-time students. The course includes cooperative learning, research, problem-solving and field experience and faculty and students together contribute to the health of human society.

Department of Community and Family Health:

The Department of Community and Family Health helps to improve the health status of the family through its positive approach by providing preventive, curative and rehabilitative health care services within the community. Its mission includes education, research and service to improve the health promotion and disease of individuals, families and communities. In order to meet the needs of a diverse population its programs also assist individuals in developing leadership in the health disciplines so that public health responsibilities can be carried out in the context of diverse settings.

Department of Environmental and Occupational Health:

The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health includes students with biological, engineering, chemistry, nursing, medical and social science backgrounds. The faculties of our department are highly qualified and are dedicated to excellent teaching. The degrees offered in our department include the Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).

Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics:

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Florida offers the Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree, the Masters of Science in Public Health (MSPH) degree, and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in both Epidemiology and Biostatistics. The prospective students with backgrounds in the medical, biological, social, and quantitative sciences can apply in our Epidemiology and Biostatistics department. Our faculties are successfully engaged in nationally recognized research programs and they are dedicated and committed to classroom teaching.

Department of Health Policy and Management:
The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) is an important part of the College of Public Health and the University of South Florida (USF). Welcome to the Department of Health Policy and Management. Our department offers Master of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), Master of Health Administration (MHA), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree programs and a graduate certificate program in Health Management and Leadership. Master of Public Health (MPH) includes Health Organizations and Management, Health Policies and Programs, and International Health Management. The Master of Health Administration (MHA) is designed for students who are interested in senior management positions in health services. Our MSPH and Ph.D. programs prepare students for health services research.
